This is a picture I drew of a Firebear several years ago. Since making this picture, I've lost three important things: Photoshop, a scanner, and delusions of being able to draw. I mean, look at that thing. It's less Firebear and more Butterflybear, which is infinitely less frightening...

I placed a craigslist ad looking for people to design a cooler logo for us. Since this is show is cover-free (Read: We're not getting paid), I mentioned in the ad that payment would come in the form of exposure (Read: They're not getting paid).
Little did I know, this is a major faux pas in the world of freelance artists. Within two hours, people were flooding my mailbox and reposting on craigslist with accusations of slave labor and exploitation (Seriously). For some reason, it's okay for writers and actors to work pro bono (40% of craigslist writing and talent gig postings are non-paid*), but if you ask someone to do a free sketch, you're worse than a one-armed, six-fingered man.
The good news is I think I've found someone to help me out. The better news is that amongst the hate mail, someone had the free time to draw and send me this:

Unfortunately, we are not looking to work with artists who clearly have foot fetishes. Thank you for your time.
